Install the plugin

  1. Click Help → Aptana Marketplace… then search for wakatime.

  2. Click Install.

  3. Navigate to File → WakaTime → API Key and enter your API key , then click OK.

  4. Use Aptana and your coding activity will be displayed on your WakaTime Dashboard.

Installing for older versions of Aptana

  1. Add WakaTime to your Aptana as a new Update Site:

    Select Help → Install New Software…, then enter this url and hit Enter:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wakatime/eclipse-wakatime/master/update-site/

  2. Check the WakaTime package, then click Next and proceed with the wizard to install the plugin.

  3. Use Aptana and your coding activity will be displayed on your WakaTime Dashboard.
