Android Studio

The WakaTime Android Studio plugin is open-source on GitHub.

Installing

  1. Inside Android Studio, select Preferences or Settings (depends on the system) → Plugins → Browse Repositories….

  2. Search for wakatime.

  3. Click the green Install Plugin button and confirm the installation.

  4. Re-launch Android Studio.

  5. Enter your API key , then click Save.

  6. Use Android Studio like you normally do and your coding activity will be displayed on your WakaTime Dashboard.

Upgrading

The plugin will be kept up-to-date automatically.

Uninstalling

  1. Inside Android Studio, select Preferences or Settings (depends on the system) → Plugins.

  2. Search for WakaTime.

  3. Click the Uninstall plugin button and confirm the uninstalling.

  4. Re-launch Android Studio.
