Brackets

The WakaTime plugin works with Adobes's Brackets text editor and is open-source on GitHub.

Installing

  1. Inside Brackets select to File → Extension Manager….

  2. Search for WakaTime, then click Install.

  3. Enter your API key .

  4. Use Brackets like you normally do and your time will be tracked for you automatically.

  5. Visit https://wakatime.com/dashboard to see your logged time.

Upgrading

  1. Inside Brackets select to File → Extension Manager… → Installed.

  2. When an extension update is available, a green Update button will appear in the Installed tag. If so, click Update

  3. Click the Close button.

  4. Re-start Brackets

Uninstalling

  1. Inside Brackets select to File → Extension Manager… → Installed.

  2. Click Remove

  3. Click the Close button.

  4. Re-start Brackets
