Eclipse

The Eclipse plugin is open-source on GitHub.

Installing

  1. Add WakaTime to your Eclipse as a new Update Site:

    Select Help → Install New Software…, then enter this url and hit Enter:

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wakatime/eclipse-wakatime/master/update-site/

  2. Check the WakaTime package, then click Next and proceed with the wizard to install the plugin.

  3. Click File → WakaTime → API Key, enter your API key , then click OK.

  4. Use Eclipse and your coding activity will be displayed on your WakaTime Dashboard.

Upgrading

  1. Inside Eclipse select Help → Check for Updates.

Uninstalling

  1. Inside Eclipse, select Help → About.

  2. Click Installation Details button.

  3. Select WakaTime from the list and press Uninstall… button and confirm the uninstalling by click Finish.

  4. Re-launch Eclipse.
