NetBeans

The WakaTime NetBeans plugin is open-source on GitHub.

Installing

  1. Download the .nbm plugin from GitHub releases

  2. Inside Netbeans select Tools → Plugins → Downloaded → Add Plugins…

  3. Select the downloaded nbm file.

  4. Check WakaTime and click the Install button.

  5. Follow the wizard instructions to complete the installation.

  6. Enter your API key , then click OK.

  7. Use your IDE like you normally do and your time will be tracked for you automatically.

  8. Visit https://wakatime.com/dashboard to see your logged time.

Upgrading

  1. Download the plugin from GitHub

  2. Inside Netbeans select Tools → Plugins → Downloaded → Add Plugins…

  3. Select the downloaded nbm file.

  4. Relaunch Netbeans.

Uninstalling

  1. Inside Netbeans select Tools → Plugins → Installed

  2. Find WakaTime in the list of Extensions and check the checkbox in front of it.

  3. Click the Uninstall button and follow the wizard.

  4. Re-launch Netbeans.
