WebStorm

The WakaTime WebStorm plugin is open-source on GitHub.

Installing

  1. Inside WebStorm, select Preferences → Plugins → Browse Repositories….

  2. Search for wakatime.

  3. Click the green Install Plugin button and confirm the installation.

  4. Re-launch WebStorm.

  5. Enter your API key , then click Save.

  6. Use WebStorm like you normally do and your coding activity will be displayed on your WakaTime Dashboard.

Upgrading

The plugin will be kept up-to-date automatically.

Uninstalling

  1. Inside WebStorm, select Preferences → Plugins.

  2. Search for WakaTime.

  3. Click the Uninstall plugin button and confirm the uninstalling.

  4. Re-launch WebStorm.

Installing

  1. Inside WebStorm, select Preferences → Plugins → Browse Repositories….

  2. Search for wakatime.

  3. Click the green Install Plugin button.

  4. Click Close and OK, then re-launch WebStorm.

  5. Enter your API key , then click Save.

  6. Use WebStorm like you normally do and your time will be tracked for you automatically.

  7. Visit https://wakatime.com/dashboard to see your logged time.
