Install the plugin

  1. Inside IntelliJ IDEA, open the Plugins setting menu.

    Mac: Preferences → Plugins

    Win: File → Settings… → Plugins

  2. Search for wakatime.

  3. Click the green Install button.

  4. Re-launch IntelliJ IDEA.

  5. Enter your API Key, then click Save.

  6. Use IntelliJ IDEA like you normally do and your coding activity will be displayed on your WakaTime Dashboard.
