Install the plugin

  1. Inside PyCharm, open the Plugins preferences then click Browse Repositories….

    Mac: PreferencesPluginsBrowse Repositories…

    Win: FileSettings…PluginsBrowse Repositories…

  2. Search for wakatime.

  3. Click the green Install Plugin button and confirm the installation.

  4. Re-launch PyCharm.

  5. Enter your API key , then click Save.

  6. Use PyCharm like you normally do and your coding activity will be displayed on your WakaTime Dashboard.
