Search "wakatime" in the extension page, then install it.
Copy your API Key. Open ~/.wakatime.cfg in your home directory, or %USERPROFILE%\.wakatime.cfg on Windows. Create the file if it does not exist, then add your key under [settings]:

api_key = YOUR_API_KEYReplace YOUR_API_KEY with the key from your account. If another WakaTime plugin has already configured this file, keep your existing settings and use the same key.
Restart Zed, then edit and save a file. Allow a few minutes for your activity to appear on your WakaTime Dashboard.
If activity does not appear, confirm your API key is correct and check Plugin Status. For more details, run zed: open log in Zed and look for Wakatime or wakatime-ls messages.
